VisiTech’s support to NAVMSMO/N6M includes the Navy’s Simulation Baseline Assessment, Fleet Training Study, and M&S Value Analysis. The Baseline Assessment describes Navy use of simulation in training, acquisition, assessment, support to operations, and in science and technology development and Sea Power 21 application.

It summarizes key programs, estimates resource expenditures, and summarizes issues and recommendations. The BAM is a “snap-shot” of where the USN is with respect to M&S resources and assets. It is produced for the Navy’s Modeling and Simulation as a precursor to the Navy’s Simulation Master Plan, which is an ongoing project.
