VisiTech analysts led an effort to determine how intelligence operations were conducted in the Balkans in support of international peacekeeping actions and paramilitary activities.

The goal of the Role of Intelligence Operations (TRIO) initiative was to identify areas for technology insertion after conducting thorough interviews of key personnel and exhaustive fact-finding of data, sources and process description.

Conclusions and recommendations were then provided to the Government on current support systems, and likely improvements.
